RAWER Motor Group

In 2005 the start-up RAWER Motor Group was born, which aims to take the place of the English car manufacturer Rover, which closed in the same year.  The company buys the rights and projects of the models of the house in order to renew them for its own production.  In the same year he initiated a series of agreements with the British car manufacturer MVR, which has long been in receivership with Corvo, in order to ally for the birth of Rawer and find a logical meaning to the existence of MVR, which was in strong crisis and in a difficult attempt at rebirth with Corvo.

The company logo is the lion, because it means the perseverance of the brand with the saying "The lion is wounded but he is not dead".

The name Rawer was chosen for the pronunciation very similar to "Rover", however it has a literal meaning that is "more raw", which reflects the philosophy of the brand's cars, which is focused on mechanics.
